Combating Antisemitism

Our Approach

JCRC proactively combats antisemitism through our “Stand Up! Speak Out!” initiative, which involves several programs designed to reduce bigotry against, and ignorance of, Jews and the Jewish community.  We serve as a resource and partner to schools, employers, and Jewish families as they navigate anti-Jewish incidents.

JCRC distributes a 7-year calendar of major Jewish holidays to help raise awareness and minimize conflicts.  We promote accurate education about Jews, Judaism, Jewish history, and Israel in schools throughout Indiana by encouraging teachers to use common-core aligned curricular materials they can trust in their classrooms. JCRC believes that education and constructive dialogue are the most effective ways to minimize hate and reduce division between communities.

Stand Up! Speak Out!

The JCRC has shifted our approach from reacting to individual incidents, to including proactive outreach, programming, education, and training to help prepare young people (and their families) for the realities of 21st-century antisemitism in all its forms.

Israel Engagement Fellowship

Jewish teens develop their connection to Israel through learning about its history, Zionism, and antisemitism.

Teacher Trainings

Hoosier educators learn how to teach accurately about Judaism, Jewish history, the Holocaust, antisemitism, and Israel with curricular materials they can trust.

Words to Action

ADL’s workshop empowers and equips Jewish youth in middle/high school with effective responses to combat antisemitism.

Multifaith Engagement

Teens of different faiths expand empathy and reduce stereotypes through facilitated dialogue, breaking bread, and leading each other through their houses of worship.

Yes, antisemitism is the fiber of white nationalism, it is the ideology that in many ways is absolutely at the core and motivates all of its organizing. All of its core ideology and its worldview.
