Equality Act

The Equality Act would update the federal Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, public accommodations, public education, federal funding, credit, and the jury system. Passage of the Equality Act would provide LGBTQ+ people nationwide with protection against discrimination.

For the People Act

This historic bill will make it easier to vote in federal elections, end congressional gerrymandering, overhaul federal campaign finance laws, increase safeguards against foreign interference in U.S. elections, strengthen government ethics rules, and more.

George Floyd Justice in Policing Act

The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021 will make four key changes to Federal policing policy: make the prosecution of police misconduct easier, expand federal oversight of local police units, limit bias among officers, and help change policing tactics.
