JCRC Guiding Principles for Advocacy

Our Guiding Principles for Advocacy guide our advocacy efforts. These positions are the result of extensive deliberation among divergent views in our community, as we seek to represent the consensus of the organized Jewish community. JCRC embraces the diversity of thought, encourages the expression of differing opinions, and engages the general and Jewish communities in a manner that reflects our values, and advances our purposes.  Specific positions on state and federal legislation will be determined after bills are filed and reviewed by the JCRC Government & Domestic Affairs Committee.

We work tirelessly behind the scenes and on the frontlines to ensure that the organized Jewish community’s interests are addressed. Our positions are formed based on consensus and civility, creating a broad tent for our community’s diversity.
