JCRC Week in Review 12.2.2016

December 4, 2016

The JCRC kicked off the new week with Lindsey attending JFGI’s active shooter training; every synagogue and Jewish organization should be working with David Sklar on the digital sandbox. David is gearing up for the legislative session and continues to lead coalition building efforts around passing hate crimes legislation. Lauren attended WinterFest at UIndy to help students learn about the Jewish holiday Hanukkah; many thanks to Rabbi Paula Winnig of the BJE for providing latkes, sufganiyot, dreidels, and gelt for the students to enjoy.

Upcoming Program: Make sure to join JCRC this Tuesday, December 6, 2016 for our program “BDS and the New Antisemitism” with Dr. Asaf Romirowsky. The talk will be at 7:00 PM at the JCC’s Laikin Auditorium.
